Going out to eat or have drinks does not have to be about just the meal and the conversation and the DJ playing your favorite tunes. There are a number of places in Accra that offer amazing meals and live band performances. These places usually have specific recurring days or hold live events on their premises daily.

Zen Garden

Location: Orphan Crescent, Labone, Accra

Zen Garden has regular live band and acoustic nights, hosted mostly by the Kwanpa band and other guest bands or music artists adept at performing live. The Afrikiko Leisure Centre is adjacent to the French Embassy and is known for being a chill, laid-back spot to have fun. There’s access to their restaurants and the live band is held outdoors on Fridays and weekends, mostly Saturdays. The crowd there is usually older, with lots of tourists as well.
