Accra’s 8 Best Restaurants for Late Night Munchies

Life in Accra, they say, is beautiful and better at night and that really isn’t debatable at all. With all the enjoyment going on at night at various locations, late night eating really hits differently. Here are some popular places in Accra to help you satisfy your late night food hunts. 

  1. Waakye at Dawn, Madina 

Get over your late night waakye here. Waakye at Dawn is just a ten minute drive from the UPSA HOSTEL. Opening times are 12:30am til 6am. 

2. Osu Waakye

Now this is a special one because you are going to meet anybody you can imagine there, from the police officer on patrol to the guy helping cars park by the roadside. It’s located at Danquah Circle, opposite the Police Hospital from 9pm til morning. 

 

3. Burger Boyz

Hungry after a night out? Burger Boyz gotchu! Opens from 9am til 6am on Friday to Sunday. Burger Boyz serves the juiciest burger you can have and is located at Cantonments.

4. Mufty’s 

Mufty's… “where coffee & food is our heart” is a 24-hour food truck located in front of X Men East Legon on the Bawaleshi Road. Mufty’s has a variety of food options. 

5. KFC 

Life has been fun and easier for fries lovers since KFC introduced 24-hour service at a few of its branches; Osu, East Legon, Haatso…etc. Just walk-in!

6. DSTRKT 24

DSTRKT 24 is a 24/7 service restaurant located in East Legon, opposite the Mensvic Hotel. The restaurant serves a wide range of tasty continental dishes alongside a breathtaking ambiance to unwind after a busy day.

7. Breakfast to Breakfast 

Just like DSTRKT 24, Breakfast to Breakfast is a perfect spot for gourmands in the mood to explore their taste buds. It serves every meal, from Breakfast to Supper and desserts as well. Find Breakfast to Breakfast on the Oxford Street, Osu. 

8. Peterpan 

Peterpan has been around for some years now and has been serving Ghana’s families; they are known to be one of the best restaurants in Ghana with an amazing 24-hour service and if you’re looking for your late night pizza, that’s a stop!
